Exploring right mindfulness as part of the path that leads to well-being. A talk by Lyndon at Cenla Meditation Group.
I hope you don't get the vibe that I'm trying to annoy you, or anything. But I'm in a situation similar to yours, and I just want to know how you do your bilingual thing--how you manage to come to terms with two religious systems that often times collide with each other. Thank you so much for your time. Best, Dollie
I take it serious but not too serious. I’ve learned the questions are just as important, if not more, than the answers. Stop trying to explain everything. Appreciate the mystery, experience the paradox, rest in the wonder. Appreciate the humanity of Jesus and learn to appreciate the divinity of being human. Stop forcing everything into narrow boxes. Drop the dualism. Love. Love yourself. Love others. Look for common ground rather than differences. Drop the need to convert others to your side of everything. Allow others to be wrong. Realize that you often are. Realize that right now you may see it like this, but you didn’t always. There’s a good chance you won’t always see it the way you do now. Hold loosely. Let go with gratitude when the time comes. Everything is impermanent, including you. Don’t wait for happiness to fall out of the sky. Choose it. Give yourself permission to be happy. Allow others the space they need to be themselves and know that we’re all still trying to figure out what that means. Laugh. Cry. Cuss. Pray. Be still. Be you.
That’s all I got. You’re welcome to be more specific. I may not have the answer you’re looking for.
Blessings
